Today was filled with romance

I

• worked on homework for 3 hours
• played Skyrim for 3 hours
• (reluctantly) applied for my first credit card
• spent 45 minutes disputing a charge on my debit card
• remembered buying the thing I was disputing
• rolled my eyes at 100+ Facebook posts
• was given a bottle of cream soda
• drank the whole thing, and during each sip I ignored my New Year's Resolution to stop drinking soda

What a day.

• I moved to Maine when I was 6
• I bothers me that I can't say that I'm a born and raised Mainer

• a couple nights ago I had a dream that an eel-sized humpback whale coiled itself around my arm then pooped out a full, perfectly intact pizza on me 
• I would really like to have that dream assessed
• I get genuinely angry when my fellow students show up late to class with fancy coffee in their hands
• I have never in my life spit out gum anywhere but a trash can
• I have a (very) outstanding library fine, but have yet to be contacted about it, so in the meantime I won't check out books because I want the library to think that I died
• anytime a librarian looks at me, I panic a little
• I want a pet duck but I'm too afraid of the bird flu

during super bowl XLVIII

• made and consumed an embarrassing amount of cauliflower buffalo "wings" 
• laughed
• got annoyed at my house guests who were being party poopers (you know who you are)
• laughed some more
•  tweeted
• wondered when Beyonce was going to show up
• did my German homework
• didn't even realize the Super Bowl ended 

Welp. Time to shift the focus back to hockey.
